1. Data controller

The controller of personal data collected through ToolsOps is Pablo Yágüez Plaza, with Spanish tax ID 50229528N and registered address at Calle Alondra, Madrid (Spain).

Data protection contact: privacy@toolsops.dev.

2. Purpose of processing

ToolsOps is a public digital tools website. It processes only the data strictly required to:

  • Serve the pages and tools requested by the visitor's browser.
  • Respond to communications you send by email.
  • Comply with legal obligations (retention of communications for legal periods when applicable).

3. Data we process

  • Anonymous visit: the site requires no registration or identification. There are no user accounts, no login, no newsletter.
  • Technical browser data: when serving pages, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) processes connection metadata (IP, user-agent, date/time, requested path) for service delivery, security and abuse mitigation, during short periods. These data are not linked to user identities because we don't hold any.
  • Content entered into the tools (JSON, chmod values, etc.): processed entirely in your browser. It is NOT sent to any server, NOT stored in client-side storage (localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies) NOR in any database. It disappears when you close the tab.
  • Email communications: if you write to any of the public mailboxes of the domain, we will retain the content of your message (including name and email address if provided) for the time needed to handle your request and, where applicable, for the legal limitation periods.

4. Legal basis

  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for serving the site, maintaining its security and preventing abuse.
  • Pre-contractual measures or consent (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(a) GDPR) for handling enquiries sent by email.
  • Compliance with legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) when the law requires us to retain communications.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for any future activation of analytics or personalized advertising; will be requested explicitly before loading.

5. Retention

Emails and contact communications will be kept for as long as necessary to handle the request and, at most, for 24 months after the last interaction, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention or they must be kept for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

6. Recipients and providers

To run the service we use the following providers:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting (Cloudflare Workers), CDN, DNS, TLS and security services. Processes technical connection metadata and serves the site's static assets. Cloudflare privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
  • Domain email provider: Cloudflare, Inc., through Cloudflare Email Routing, used to forward messages sent to toolsops.dev domain addresses. Cloudflare privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Currently ToolsOps does not use analytics, advertising or newsletter providers. Any future addition will be reflected in this policy before activation.

7. International transfers

Cloudflare operates infrastructure globally. Transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other appropriate safeguards under GDPR.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

See the cookie policy for the current list and future plans.

9. Your rights

Under GDPR and the Spanish LOPDGDD, you may at any time exercise the rights of:

  • Access to your personal data.
  • Rectification when data are inaccurate.
  • Erasure when data are no longer necessary.
  • Objection to processing on grounds related to your particular situation.
  • Restriction of processing.
  • Portability in a structured format.
  • Withdrawal of consent previously given.

To exercise them, write to privacy@toolsops.dev indicating the right you wish to exercise and providing a means to verify your identity if necessary.

10. Complaint before the supervisory authority

If you consider that the processing does not comply with regulations, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of the EU Member State where you reside.
